Are real estate sale people generally dishonest?
I mean they buy and sell but produce nothing...is it a less than honorable career? have you been wronged by one? Is there a special place in hell for them?
Is the constant increase in real estate and buildings bad for the environment?
As you know everytime real estate has plans to build houses and buildings all the natural vegetation is removed, replaced by these structures and then given beds of grass for people to line their properties with.Isn't wise from a healthy environment view to tear down depleted, condemned, abandoned, squalers, remove all the impurities left behind from those depleted homes, clean up the entire area, and rebuild new homes and new buildings?It makes more sense because although we are meeting the high demands for real estate and new buildings but also we are tearing down depleted useless dumps, removing impurites left behind, clearing the way for new, uselful, valuable homes and buildings by reusing the land instead of just leaving all that waste and removing more natural vegetation to cause the earth to loose it's healthy environment.
To real estate investors/sellers: will painting the brick veneer on my home be a good move?
My home is half masonite and half brick veneer. The brick is a rusty orange brown color and the masonite is a light olive green with medium brown shutters and door. I want to change it all but am apprehensive about painting the brick. Will painting the brick cause the value of my house to drop, or will it increase?Could I stain the brick?? Like use concrete stain?The brick is in good shape...it doesn't need pressure washing or cleaning. The natural color is the rusty brown ornage color they are multi shades of the orange brown family ...I just don't like the color. I can match other colors to it, my concern is that some color will not match to it and I will have to paint the brick.
The real estate listing states that the home we want has both electric and propane as energy sources...?
My husband and I have put an offer on a home that says it has both electric and propane. We looked at the house and the water heater and furnace are not propane. The only thing we could find that would be propane was a regulator coming from under the house to the back yard. What in this home could be propane? Any anwsers would help
What can I do when the real estate does not fix the mould in the cupboards it ha been 8 months?

Measuring bedrooms for real estate listings?
Hello,I was wondering if there are any standards for measuring the dimensions of bedrooms. Eg Do you include the closet area also in the bedroom size. As an example I have a 7'X12' bedroom which has a 3'X12' reach in closet. Do I list the room size as 10'x12'?

In real estate, What does "receivership" mean? My Condo (apt-conversion) property is screwing us over!!!!?
I bought a condo 3 years ago condo conversion , and there is still no " association" . They have been collecting my fees the whole time. They The Real Estate Developer is MIA, and the property is in " receivership" . Apparently they haven't sold the 75 % of the units, but 3 years have passed and they haven't turned it over to the owners. As owners, we have had no say in what is happening here, and there has been no communication regarding the status of the receivership or what is going to happen. The property manager seems to have a conflict of interest because she lives here for free. She doesn't give me any information, and the property management company isn't responding to my requests for updates and information.What can I do about it? I am an owner, and feel like they lied to get me to buy the place, made promises about improvements, etc., and are totally falling short of their promises. So far, nobody has given us owners any indication that it's time to have a vote. They also haven't given us any chance to go to a board meeting, or take part in any discussions. I wrote to the property management 11 months ago, and again 3 months ago... they still don't respond What can I do to get some answers? We are tired of waiting.

Hello,I'm thinking about expanding the closet in my master bedroom by opening the wall to the closet on the other side of the wall. The closet on the other side currently belongs to that bedroom. A friend told me that a bedroom without a closet is considered an " office" in real estate terms. Is this accurate? I've been in several homes that don't have closets in some bedrooms.
