With this recomendation letter will be more easy to rent a house trought real estate?
Im living in Uk about half year and was dificult for me to find a flat to rent because the real estate ask for a lot of documentation.I will leave the flat where im living in the end of this Month and i will ask to the landlord for a recomendation letter because i payed the rent always in time and i was a good tenant,with this recomendation letter will be more easy to rent a house trought real estate?There is any good website to rent the house directly from owner without passing from real estate?

Finding real estate agent?
Would you just go to Remax, Century21, Coldwell Banker popular places I know and just start talking to them or is there any better way of finding a real estate agent I dont know too many people in the place where I live so I dont have any recommendations etc . Maybe look on Craigslist etc. Thanks.
To real estate investors/sellers: will painting the brick veneer on my home be a good move?
My home is half masonite and half brick veneer. The brick is a rusty orange brown color and the masonite is a light olive green with medium brown shutters and door. I want to change it all but am apprehensive about painting the brick. Will painting the brick cause the value of my house to drop, or will it increase?Could I stain the brick?? Like use concrete stain?The brick is in good shape...it doesn't need pressure washing or cleaning. The natural color is the rusty brown ornage color they are multi shades of the orange brown family ...I just don't like the color. I can match other colors to it, my concern is that some color will not match to it and I will have to paint the brick.
Is the constant increase in real estate and buildings bad for the environment?
As you know everytime real estate has plans to build houses and buildings all the natural vegetation is removed, replaced by these structures and then given beds of grass for people to line their properties with.Isn't wise from a healthy environment view to tear down depleted, condemned, abandoned, squalers, remove all the impurities left behind from those depleted homes, clean up the entire area, and rebuild new homes and new buildings?It makes more sense because although we are meeting the high demands for real estate and new buildings but also we are tearing down depleted useless dumps, removing impurites left behind, clearing the way for new, uselful, valuable homes and buildings by reusing the land instead of just leaving all that waste and removing more natural vegetation to cause the earth to loose it's healthy environment.

i know i want to do something in construction. i thought about project manager or contractor but i am not sure that is really what i am looking for .Who decides what kind flooring goes into to projects or what shade type of hardwood floor. or kind of molding. or should we put in a skylight or would adding a porch look goood. i can look at a house and come up with all kinds of things to add or take away to make it beautiful and i love planning estates. i know i want to work with residential projects. but what area should i focus my energies. is it architecture, interior design, contracting. or just generally property develope. please help
Why are reasonably-priced houses severely underrepresented in interior design and real estate TV shows?
The average person on these TV shows such as those on HGTV and TLC all have $400k houses. The average person in reality does not. Why is there such an imbalance in representation?
I have a real estate question?
I am putting in a walkway from my driveway to the backyard fence patio. I was wondering if by doing this I am raising the house value any? My husband says it's just a waste of time and money, but it's something that I love doing. Thanks in advance.I put in an area for a garden up next to the house part that is about 1.5 feet wide and the walkway beside it is about 4 feet wide. I'm using regular bricks to outline the garden and walkway and I'm not sure what type of stepping stones or gravel I'll be using. The garden area has wildflowers in it now, but I am planning on putting in some bulbs or something else in Spring.
Staging (real estate) question:How tall should palm trees in the living room be?
The living room ceilings are very tall 12 15 ft . Should the palm trees be about 8 ft tall or should they almost touch the ceiling? Any other thoughts you might have will be appreciated. The staging is for a house for sale and I am the seller.Thanks.The house is being professionally staged and the realtor and stager are having a disagreement. The real estate listing states that the home we want has both electric and propane as energy sources...?
My husband and I have put an offer on a home that says it has both electric and propane. We looked at the house and the water heater and furnace are not propane. The only thing we could find that would be propane was a regulator coming from under the house to the back yard. What in this home could be propane? Any anwsers would help
