If i have health insurance can i see my doctor without parents knowing?
I'm 17 and I'm not telling my parents I'm pregnant until I feel ready, but I will soon. I just wanna go to the doctors with my boyfriend first. I have health insurance, from them, will they find out? Even if I don't plan on using the specific doctor we are going to?Were keeping the baby, I just don't feel ready yet to tell anyone. I'll tell them eventually, but not right now.First of all, this child was PLANNED. We are getting married in July whether we had a baby a or not. We will get insurance before then for all three of us. To say I need to grow up is very rude, and will not get you best answer, just saying. I'm not telling them, until AFTER I get it confirmed that everything is alright. I just want to go with my boyfriend first.

Do health insurance premium payments count as countable income for social security?
My 64 year old father is looking to partially retire, going from working full time to only three days a week, and offsetting the pay difference with Social Security. According to the SSA website, he is allowed to make $14,640 of " countable" income, annually, without a reduction to his Social Security benefit. We're trying to find a definitive answer if payments made towards health insurance premiums count towards " countable" income? As an example, if his employer pays him $20,000... and from that, he needs to pay $6,000 annually towards medical insurance as he wont qualify for MediCare until he is 65 would his countable income be considered the $20,000 or $14,000 his salary minus his insurance premiums.

What type of health insurance should I try?
My wife and I both need health insurance. She is unemployed and my work does not offer it. We just got denied for medicaid health coverage but not sure why. I don't know if i should try to look into medicaid more and see if id still be able to get accepted or not. But if not I want to try to find the best options for us. We are both 20 and married. We are trying for a baby at the moment but she is not pregnant as of now. Id like to try to find the best, cheapest options because we do have a lot of medical bills we are currently paying on. If its an option id also like to find out if i could get dental also. Thanks

What should i look in a health insurance and which company is best to go for?

When my father turns 65 and retires, will I have I have health insurance?

What happens if my employer forgot to deduct my health insurance?
I just started a new job and my employer seemed to forget to deduct my health insurance from my paycheck. I called the benefits department and they said I was signed up for the health insurance. I called the health insurance company and they said I'm signed up. I called the accounting department and they said I'm not signed up for health insurance. What happens now? Am I going to get hit with a huge bill for that not being withheld from my paycheck?Ok, they are looking into it. now health insurance is supposed to happen pre tax. What happens if they " garnish" my wage for the payment they missed? How will my tax be effected? Also, this is the second check I got this month and both checks didn't have the insurance deduction they were supposed to have.

Can i add someone else's child to my health insurance??????;;;;;;?

Who are some big name people who committed health insurance fraud?

Could someone please recommend an inexoensive way to buy health insurance?
I'm looking for major medical with maybe some doctor visits if ever needed. Thanks.Yes, I understand good coverage costs money. I have received quotes for $95 a month for 10,000 deductible and $30 floats visits....I overhead someone talking about how they pay $65 for similar coverage. I make decent cash. Just want coverage for the big stuff that I can't pay for. Thanks. if you have any specific sites or companies I would appreciate help.

State farm health insurance?
Does anyone have state farm health insurance? I've had car insurance with them since I was 16 and was considering getting health through them too, is it alright insurance or is it not so great?

Examples for understanding health insurance?
So basically I asked a question earlier but I got two different answers in reply.1. On my insurance card it says PCP $20, SPEC $20, ER $50, and my deductible is $250. Now say it's the beginning of the year and I am still at $250. Does this mean if I went to the regular doctor for a check up, I would only have to pay $20 since that is PCP and then I would now be at $230?Then after my $250 is up, would it not be $20 anymore for PCP and instead would be 20 % that I cover and 80 % the insurance covers?OR2. Does this mean that say I am at $250 at the beginning of the year. I go to see my doctor for a regular checkup and it turns out to be $40 which would bring me to $210. Then when my $250 deductible is gone, I would start paying $20 for PCP, $20 for SPEC, and $50 for ER? What about the 80 % that the insurance pays and the 20 % I pay that people state happens after the deductible is gone?OR3. Same example. I start with $250 as my deductible at the beginning of the year and I go to see my doctor for a checkup. It would be only $20 since it's under PCP but this would NOT go against my deductible leaving it at $250 still because the only thing that goes against the deductible is hospital visits, etc. Then when my $250 is gone from hospital visits, it would be only $20 for PCP doctor checkups , $20 for SPEC, or $50 for ER. Or it would be 80 % insurance pays for these 3 and I pay 20 %?I just need lots of examples with everything involved to maybe help me understand this. How does copay fit in? Or are those $20 for PCP, $20 for SPEC, and $50 for ER what copay is? Or is it an extra fee?So please any examples and by answering whether 1 or 2 or 3 is right would be helpful. Thanks It's a PPO Program, does that help?So Flower, if you are saying 2 it sounds like you are saying the $20 PCP, the $20 for SPEC, and $50 for ER would be the exact numbers I would pay while I still have my deductible left and even after it's up? Plus the 20 % I would also pay after it's up?It sounds like you would pay less than with your deductible intact, correct?

What is a good type of health insurance for younger married couple.?
My wife and I are both 20 years old and don't have health or dental insurance which we definitely need. We have had a lot of hospital bills and can't keep up with them. We were denied for medicaid so I am looking for a type of health insurance that will be cheaper but include health and dental benefits. I just wanted to ask you guys before I spend all day researching stuff so if you have any advice that'd be great. Thanks
