Why do business-related degrees get such a bad rap?
I don't know about the US or anywhere else for that matter when it comes to Business degrees, but in Australia they're pretty useful degrees You can major in all sorts of fields Accounting, Finance, Economics etc.. and they're always highly sought after. I've checked my University's career website for final year students and they're always filled with firms seeking Business graduates especially for Marketing, but that's besides the point . There's a lot of criticism, particularly from people advocating the study of STEM fields hard science...but obviously there are going to be people applying to university that aren't passionate about that. These fields are highly sought after in the market and students find jobs much easier than liberal arts students. Critics often argue that you shouldn't study for a degree that provides low opportunities low income, but business degrees provide many job opportunities and a good entry level income. The only decent criticism I've received against business degrees, in relation to science degrees, is that they're dispassionate and solely concerned with productivity. All others don't seem to properly explain why..Why do business degrees get a bad rap??

Can I run a small business from my bedroom ?
Currently I am in the process of registering my business. I am 75 % done with the process. I been saving up , and have around 10k in my account. But not enough to rent my own place and such for my business. I don't see the need for it since i will be using my computer most of the time.If I do that and run my business from my room, which I am renting in a house from. . Do I have to get some kind of form or something legal done so that it's not illegal? What does Certificate of Use mean ? Is that Something I would have to get if I am running my business from my basement or room?

Starting a small internet business? Selling my designed sweaters/jumpers?
I know it's a bit of a long shot but lately I've been interested in raising money a little differently to what everyone else is doing. Of course i'd have to put some research into this before I try anything so that's why i'm here. I've been wondering if I could design jumpers for selling, but without actually making them myself. For example, contact a producer of sweaters jumpers which print with your own design, but also allow resale of their products, which I would sell on a website, and would also photograph and promote them myself. I'm not entirely sure if this is possible so i'm just curious. I'm hoping for a career in the fashion industry which is why i'm interested in trying something like this for experience, which will also hopefully impress universities and help me stand out a little, I mean i'm not going to get anywhere sitting around am I? The only thing stopping me is probably the price of doing this, so could anyone give me a rough estimation of how much producers would charge? by the way i'm 16 and from the UK THANK YOU
